総括 2019 年 / Movie 編

2019 年映画は 111 本観ました。
そのうち、66 本を劇場で観賞しました。

これだけ観ても特に深く感動する
作品に出会うことも少なくなりましたので、
まあまあ記憶に残っている作品
をピックアップしてみました。

海外発注したので到着は今年になってしまった。

90 年代のこれらの曲は決して嫌いではないので、
久しぶりに聴いて大満足です。

Dead & Co でもこの辺の曲を
もっとプレイしてくれたら良いのになと思います。

"It might come as a shock to discover that
the Grateful Dead were never great at finishing albums on schedule.
Of the 13 studio albums they released between 1967 and 1989,
at least six come with nearly legendary stories
of blowing through deadlines in clouds of massive confusion and great expense.
Starting in 1992, the Grateful Dead began
to introduce songs that might constitute
a follow-up album to 1989's Built To Last,
and achieving critical mass by the summer of 1994.
In the fall of that year and again the spring of 1995,
they convened at The Site, a Marin County recording studio,
to lay down tracks. They didn’t get very far,
with Jerry Garcia adding only a little bit of guitar to the music,
and the recordings were scrapped.
But, using the concert stage as a recording studio of sorts,
the Grateful Dead had already recorded their new songs many times.
Not all takes were keepers, and nearly all continued to evolve during
the various lifespans in the band’s repertoire.
Assembled now, READY OR NOT is
a stirring conclusion to the band’s three-decade career,
music filled with adventure and possibility,
big questions, big punchlines, and cosmic wisdom."
