今回の Archive は、
The Tunnel of Love Express Tour。
今回と同会場の 23 日音源もすでにリリースされ、
この Archive シリーズ、5 Shows 目です。

この Tour 特有の Set List と大きな差はなく、
曲順と数曲を入れ替えながら演奏です。

この Tour 最大の特徴は、
Acoustic Guitar 1本での
Born To Run の演奏と
Horn Section の加入だと思います。

Essay
The Tunnel of Love Express Tour's five-show station stop
in Los Angeles wraps with this peak '88 performance on April 28.
The core Tunnel setlist, including "Be True," "Brilliant Disguise,"
"Tougher Than The Rest," "I'm A Coward" and
"Part Man, Part Monkey," has never sounded better.
An irresistible encore features Arthur Conley's "Sweet Soul Music"
and a deserving homage to Northwest garage rock,
as Bruce covers The Sonics' "Have Love, Will Travel."
Rarer still and even more meaningful is
the seminal cover of Ry Cooder's majestic masterpiece,
"Across The Borderline," the sound of which echoes
through Springsteen's writing ever since.

Additional musicians:
Mario Cruz – Tenor saxophone, backing vocal
Ed Manion – Baritone saxophone, backing vocal
Mark Pender - Trumpet, backing vocal
Richie "La Bamba" Rosenberg - Trombone, backing vocal
Mike Spengler – Trumpet, backing vocal
